Walsall Deaf Community Services provides specialist training in Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language from NVQ Level 1 through to NVQ Level 6 Language Development and up to Level 6 Interpreting.
Level 6 Interpreting Course
We follow Signature’s qualification scheme, which is designed to equip learners who are working or training as an interpreter with the knowledge and skills to become a qualified interpreter.
The qualification is split into six units in total, four mandatory units and one optional, students must pass all units to be awarded the full qualification.
The units involve compiling a portfolio of evidence covering the five chosen units.
