About BSL Level 1
We follow Signature’s qualification scheme, which is designed to enable learners to communicate with deaf people in BSL on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use.
The qualification is split into three units, BSL101 / BSL102 / BSL103, each can be achieved separately.
To achieve the full Level 1 Award in British Sign Language, students must pass all the units.
