Walsall PANTS Campaign- keeping children safe from abuse
This joint campaign between Walsall Safeguarding Children Board and the NSPCC with the primary aim to encourage parents, carers and adults working with children to have conversations with children in an age-appropriate way about how to stay safe from sexual abuse. This year-long, multi-agency campaign has distinct, but overlapping phases, each targeting a different audience, so far we have reached over 7,000 children in Walsall.
There is a video created in British Sign Language can help you teach deaf children important messages, like their body belongs to them and they should tell an adult if they’re upset or worried, the link can be found on: https://www.nspcc.org.uk/
